If I hadn't seen this actually done, I wouldn't have believed it possible. Amazing!

        Walkin' on water.....

Hi Andy....exactly so mate, which is one of the reasons I posted it.....

Amazing is the word...... Goodness only knows what possibilities this tech will open up as they get better at using it. In the video, mention is made of it enabling someone to take on a 100ft wave....if they can be at the right place at the right time to catch one o'course...not exactly a common event for all the conditions to come together to create the right swell etc....but they are watching...and waiting.....

But, there may be one place though...it's a spot called Cortes Bank, an undersea mount, but it's 100 miles offshore of San Diego (and a bit sharky.....) Check this video out for more Andy....I'm sure you'll find it interesting mate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz97moE41Xo

Here's a slightly longer clip with some more background on Laird Hamilton and the Foilboard, as well as some beautiful footage.....Check out the shot of him riding along the top lip of the wave and making it look 'easy'.....Incredible skill and courage, not to mention extreme focus....it's almost religion to guys like this....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB-SQhg1z9A
