That picture reminds me of seeing Rudi Kurth and Dane Rowe at Brands Hatch. They did at least one season of Grands Prix with their outfit on top of a Citroen Safari.

Dane Rowe was a friend of mine before she went to Switzerland- 59 club etc, I was called by name in Oxford Street by Dane, with the outfit on the car roof when I was a courier- much to my surprise. Peter.Comment

Rudi Kurth went on to do a bunch of interesting stuff including the solar challenge race across Australia in the 80s. His Crescent powered CAT reportedly weighed in at a miserly 140kg. Innovative guy. Or have I gone off-thread?Comment
