Could anyone tell me which models this propstand fits please

    Hi,
My prop stand, 1960 Scottish, was made by a GRA Member.
The problem was it was about an inch to short to work.
Had to screw an inch by inch square tube, at the bottom, to work.
Guess it depend if the suspension is standard or not.
I remember the GRA supplying stand measurements at the time.
Are Parts still available ???? as I'm missing the spring, and curved part,

Funnily enough I also need a spring and the curved thingy too. Villiers services might do them, I'll check tomorrow.

Ever tried to fit a prop stand to a Scott, folks? You have to sort of make it up as you go along...

I think an old willow cricket bat might be appropriate!

I think the stands are about the same for the TDS TES and TFS as well but heights do very a little, I found that the angle of lean was a bit different so some fine tuning is required.

I never use the stand at all in trials as they all ways sink in mud or topple over!

              Prop stands

Dickie, the stand on ebay is NOT for TES TFS but the earlier Scottish with the stand mounted between engine plates not on the outside of the plates as on TES TFS. I mentioned this because the original thread was to identify what the propstand was for! ...John P.

Looking forward, to seeing the extra posts put up by john and other members.
Paper work done, I think, just waiting for my online status to be upgraded to full member.

£91!! with a few tools some scrap steel tube & sheet & an ark welder you could make one for a lot less than that. The drawing is up on the other thread

I need two prop stands and I am sure I could get them made for under the cost of two off ebay.
