There are some good videos on a facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2232...ion_affordance I was particularly taken by a bike with a Norton Jubilee engine. Is it too late to put one (or a Navigator / ES400) in my embryonic Grumph? Probably, and probably outside my competence anyway.

You could always go for a 250cc Triumph Tigress scooter engine, there was one of these in the Scottish trial. BSA development dept even produced a prototype which Edward Turner was not amused about. http://www.bsaotter.com/tigress_in_y...amed_vera.htmlLast edited by John Wakefield; 02/05/2023, 10:13 AM.

I think the 3TA is as far as I want to go in the Meriden field. I remember when I was at school one of my wealthy classmates had a Tina. We took great delight in sabotaging the little switch that stopped it from pulling away if there was no-one on the seat.
