One wonders why someone has spent all that time & money restoring it but has never licensed it (or maybe used it) Cashing in a pension fund maybe!!
It IS on a V5 so number can be retained, but one would have thought at the asking price the owner would have obtained a new V5c in his name then MoT'd & licensed the bike. It will cost the new owner £25 to get a new V5c

A read of Don Morleys book Classic British Two Stroke Trials Bikes tells us that in 1967 a new Cheetah in kit form with new Villiers 37A iron engine would have cost £219. A disc brake cost an extra £20, and a Greeves Anglian alloy barrel & head assy. added a further £30 so bringing the price to £269 for a top of the range machine
