  • Festival of 1000 Bikes ITV4

Did anyone watch the Festival of 1000 Bikes on ITV4 last night? Lots of interesting footage of Barry Sheene, Kenny Rogers, Steve Parrish and other riders from the 70's early eighties, but very little to do with the Mallory event itself, plus too many adverts. A low budget documentry using cheap to film interviews & archive film, much of it repeated within the duration of the programme. Bit dissapointing after the excellent TT coverage.

Totally agree John, very dissapointing. I tried watching it on ITV player and that didn't work properly either! There is some youtube footage which is much more interesting, actually.

    Cheers,

I agree with you too, bit cheap. No mention of the likes of Pat Hennon, Barry Ditchburn and many others that made the era what it was.
