Jawa 250 & 350 roadsters

Personally I thought road going 2 strokes over 50cc were dead but not so, looks like Jawa are still making 350cc twins, the 350 Classic. From the performance they are not that different from Greeves but with modern equipment. Has anyone had a ride on one or own one? On the road price is £2995 for electric/kick start, or £2895 for kick start only. Spares are cheap £25 for piston c/w rings. Jawa also do a 250 Travel 4 stroke for £2995.

I was given an old 1969 250 by a neighbour many years back when I was about 17. We used to use it to thrash up and down the beach at Wallasey until a pal crashed it into a hole on the sea wall bending back the forks. We fitted Honda forks the next day and then back to the beach! Ah those where the days!!
