I decided that the Ranger was not stable enough when parked on the side stand. I fabricated (not the welding) this from ISDT drawings though not as high as they are difficult to lift on the stand. It could still possibly do with not being quite as high as it is a bit of a lift getting it on. It is very stable and probably should have been fitted when they were originally produced as repairs to punctures or chain maintenance would have been a lot easier.
