Anglian question?

I think I have located it, but I want to make sure. The crankcase drain plug.
68 Anglian 37A engine. Its in there real tight and im having a hard time trying to remove it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Dave.

Has it not got a hexegon head? Which with the correct socket should unscrew ok unless hex is damaged.
If a slotted screw you may need to use an impact wrench. Not sure why you would need to have to remove it unless the crankcase is filled with petroil. Another solution would be to remove the spark plug & kick engine over a few times to clear the fuel via spark plug hole. Bit messy but will save risking damage getting the drain plug out.
