  • What happened to the new build TJSB Anglians built by Richard Deal?

Where are all the 24TJSB Anglians built by Richard Deal (Greeves Motorcycles)? only 3 are accounted for.
    24TJSB2000 still with Richard Deal
    24TJSB2003 with Malcolm Powley, Cambs
24TJSB2004 unknown owner registered V175PHJ taxed till July 2020

According to Richard he made 28, 24TJSB2000 to 2027

A good question John. My mate, the late Willy Bryant had one. A memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. At the time we improved the bike and put right countless engineering mistakes. Simple things like plain wheel bearings that lasted one trial to crankcases and cylinders poorly machined. Just before he passed away Willy disposed of the bike. Can't recall the frame number or the rego. However the mods we carried out we're permanent and a subsequent owner would probably be no wiser.

Hope your thread gets more support.

at least the frames are easily identified

Well my mate built up a James with a trick frame, used all the Anglian running gear and engine and sold the frame, maybe it became another Anglian but what a shame!

I have recently been able find registration numbers for some of the RD TJSB Anglian's, they are as follows:
24TJSB2000 W738DHK on SORN presumably still owned by Richard Deal
          24TJSB2001 X582VTW not taxed
          24JJSB2002 X449VTW on SORN
24TJSB2003 X584VTW now re registered B6LHK owner Ian Stonebridge taxed
          24TJSB2004 V175PHJ taxed
          24THSB2005 C583VTW untaxed
24TJSB2022 EU05DZS first registered Aug 2005 on SORN

So it looks as though at least 22 were built between 2000 and 2005 presumably 2006 - 2021 were not road registered possibly sold overseas. Those built after 24JJS2022 are not road registered in UK
