24TJ classifications

I have come accross a 24TJE and also others 24TJB, C & D. What do these letter signify?

They will be exported Wessex models. All the UK bikes are simply 24TJ ***

We still don't know for certain what the extra letters signify.

They may also have the "Made in England" stamp - but not necessarily.

I think they were "batch" designations, with possible slight variations according to importer's requests.
