Anglian cylinder head joint

Folks,
My Anglian cylinder head joint is leaking. I know it doesn't have a gasket fitted (none specified)-what joint sealer does everyone use?

A light lapping with fine grinding paste then a thin film of Three Bond. Dogsbody

We usually use just a smear of grease, how bad is the leak, an alloy gasket can be fitted , and wont effect the running enough to worry about

head joint

Just a trace of oil on front fin so far!.....will whip it off for a look. Where would I get an alloy gasket?
