  • Pathfinder-help required.

    Hi,
I am trying to re-build a Pathfinder from a box of bits and am struggling with some of the cables. I am not convinced the ones I have are correct for the machine - they are new but don't seem to fit. Is there any chance anyone could post some photos close up of attachments to clutch, front brake and decompressor so I can see the components and then tell if I am missing bits or have wrong cables.
Alternatively if anyone has a Pathfinder in the Surrey / Hants border area that I could look at that may be a big help.
Thanks for any help youay be able to give.
    Charlie.

Good to have another of our friends from overseas on here, and thanks for posting your offer of help with Charlie's Pathfinder.

        Pathfinder

        Hi Robert,
Thanks for your response. I think I have the cables sorted now but the other thing that is confusing me is that the front wheel seems to be off-set due to the speedo drive and I can't see that there is any room for a spacer or washer on the other side to correct this - so is this normal? (Mine is a trials bike.)
        Thanks,
        Charlie.

          Charlie,

Here is a pic of my Pathfinder front wheel. I hope this helps.

            photos

            Hello,
please send me your mail adress. Over the weekend I will take photos from my bikes and will mail them to you!
Do you know where I can buy original cables for my Greeves?
I always like to have a set of cables in my pocket!
Regards from the sunny and hot alps!
            Robert

              Pathfinder clutch cover

              Hello to all.

Any of the Pathfinder owners know the proper procedure to install the clutch cover on a Puch? I can't get the clutch to engage.

I do know the flat portion of the release guide and shaft face towards the front.

I do not have a Puch manual.

              Thanks!
