Here's a rare article from the long out of print 'British Bike Magazine' that I thought may be of interest.

Greeves article

Author of this piece Deryk Wylde was a frequent visitor to Greeves trials in the early days. This article was written around a trial at Howe Hill Woods, near Watlington, Oxon. Those familiar with this piece of land will know it as the modern day venue for South Reading MCC s Three Musketeers Trial.

Deryk wrote quite a few articles for BBM who championed the cause of the GRA up until it's demise. It was rumoured at the time that the big publisher of the day, EMAP, squeezed the distributors of BBM out of the system so as not to undermine their own titles. Shame.

The rider on the cover of the March 1989 edition is Sean Harrop, Son of Dave, former committee member.
