  • TES Ceriani fork oil

I have forgotten how much oil to put in my Ceriani front forks. Can anyone advise me please? Also any recommendations as to which oil you think best
    Thanks Ken

The Good Book says 1/4 pint Tellus 13 per leg. Shell Tellus is a hydraulic oil but I can't find a listing for it. Think I would try a SAE 15 fork oil to start with but as I have leading links and bananas on the trials bike I don't have any experience. Think I'm using SAE 20 in the Griffon Ceriani's.

      Fork oil

Automatic transmission fluid will also work as well. ATF OR TQF

From memory Tellus was a Shell product and came in at least 4 weights, or grades. The higher number the higher the viscosity.

        Tell us

        A check on the wobbly reveals that Tellus is still made. 5 grades - 22, 32, 46, 68 & 100

Problem is that its only available in minimum size 25L drums, you would need to find an end user to buy a small quantity.

            Fork oil

            Hence the reference to ATF/TQF

Many thanks Guys. Job done and they work superbly. Any of you know a source for a 2stroke silencer for an Anglian type pipe(see my other thread) Ken
