  • TCS Front Fork Loop Query.

Hi, the loop on my 1960 TCS front suspension, appear to be larger than many Scottish bikes I see pictures of. It measures 28.5 mm measured just behind the torsion bush, before the bend.
Can anyone tell me if it is origional or what has been added.
It may have been envolved in a smash at one time as the main beam had no number, stamped to it, even though the bike came with origional paperwork.
At the time of restoration, Andrew king, suggested I stamped the number on the frame as per the paper work, so the bike could be registered, which I did.
    Look forward to your comments.

These forks would be the stronger TE / TF ones

Thanks for that infomation, oftern wondered why they were different, and what model they came off. would the torsion bushes been different, as the suspension seem quite stiff. I did put on NJB, I think, shocks inside the front fork tube.
