The pair of them look very nice. Are you planning any competitive rides, or just light duty?

Well Brian at the moment light duty at the practice ground. The Bultaco is my twin brother's and I dont fancy dropping it ! I think I'll get another for competitive stuff.

This seems to be a recurrent problem...you spend money and hours doing a machine to such a standard that it becomes a bit precious, so you need another to use in anger!

I agree kim, superb looking bike, its very nice to sit & appreciate a bike in that condition, but i think it would be cruel not to release it back into the wild, after all, thats what they were made for?.. dave.

Thanks guys. Good points. It will get released into the wild eventually - believe me. It is getting some mud on it - just not in competitions currently.

                  Adding Links.

My pleasure Keith, pleased you approve.

                  Adding a link to a post is easy, here's how;

Firstly, anything you look at online has an http:// address, and it is displayed in the 'address bar' right at the very top of your computer screen, normally above your 'search' bar and to the immediate right of your forward and back arrows (at the top, far left.) It will say something like http://www.whateverwebsite.org/gobledegook=447600 etc. (Note this is a made up http address of course, but it has still worked as a link-it just doesn't go anywhere because there's no such webpage! Click on it and see what happens.) The 'http:' address needs to be copied and pasted into your post along with your text, and this forms the 'link' to that page. It's handy to open a new 'window' and have the internet browser you use running on that one, and the GRA forum running on the other, then you can copy the link on one and switch pages to add it to your post. Make sure you copy ALL of the address though-don't miss any of it or it won't work.

1.) Find the http address bar on the page you want to link to (i.e. the forum page of an 'album' for example, the page on eBay with the item you are viewing, a website you want to draw attention to, etc.)
2.) Place your cursor over the address itself (in the address bar), then highlight it (left click.)
3.)Then, right click. You should see a menu appear-select 'Copy' and right click. Make sure that you've copied ALL of the address.
4.) Go to your post and place you cursor where you want the link to go (as if you're going to continue typing) then right-click. You should again see the menu appear-select 'Paste' and viola, you've copied your link!
5.) Finally, when you finished and uploaded your post, go back and check that your link has appeared in blue text. Try clicking on it to make sure it 'works' ok.

                  Hope this helps,

                  Brian.

PS Nice Anglian by the way!

Now you tell me Brian I realise it's straightforward and that I've done it before elsewhere. Always the way ! Thank you

                      The Missing Link.

                      Hi Keith,

Nice one, and I know just what you mean when it comes to stuff like that with computers!

                      Brian.

Chaps - I think in the antiques world, the word for doing something up and then making it look used and genuine and not super smart is 'stressing'.

Best way to get an Anglian to look like that after rebuilding is to get Dangerous Dick to do a couple of laps on it!

As him about the special test in the recent Cotswold Cups!!

                          Stressing

                          Rob,
                          Surely that should be distressing.

                            Druid,

It was to start with but we have got used to it! He even managed to crash my Anglian in the back garden!
