British hub speedo drive gearbox-how to remove?

Hi all. Can any one tell me how I remove a speedo drive from the brake plate on a British Hub please. I can see that it unscrews but the gear wheel on the inside is too large for the hole. There must be some way of removing this gear.

Hi Steve, the small gearwheel is held on with a split pin, probably needs a good clean up to find it...John.

Doh! just realised that the drive I have is the wrong hand for the Greeves hub. The cable connector exits the drive above and fouls the spindle s/arm! Must have been from a left hand hub, maybe Bantam or James? Does any one have, or know where I can get a right handed speedo drive!
