  • Hawkstone Front Brake Hub

I have a 1958 Hawkstone, reconfigured for Green Laning. Have noticed a 'knock' from the front end, which is coming from play in the front brake hub plate. How much play should I expect at the anchor point and on the axle itself?

Thanks Gary, sounds like a good fix - I'll take a closer look, especially at the bush, which looks different to my set-up.

Gary, this is the set up on my bike. Assume the bushes you supply are slightly oversized? Can you also supply the securing bolt? Are you recommending welding the wheel spacer to the brake plate? TIA

The spacers I have listed are old Greeves items that have never been used so not over size you would need to make repair to the brake plate
i have the bolt in stock but probably not listed on website
