  • Cranky Sprocket

Received my new crank sprocket for the MX4 (thanks to Terry) and after removing the old one noticed the key way sleeve of the new one was about 3mm longer. Also noticed the old one had some marks on the end & looked as if it had been lathed down?
It runs a Griffon clutch so was thinking this may have been done for chain alignment if the clutch couldn't or shouldn't have a spacer behind. Previously alignment was good.
Anyone had any experience with this arrangement before & could offer some advice?
