Does anyone know if Anglican (banana forks) are the same as those fitted to Challenger MX4 ?

Despite looking similar there are quite a few major differences mostly centred around steering. The top and bottom crown plates are different. Top crown on the MX is effectively straight, whereas the Anglian is vee shaped. Bottom crown, the position of the bearing is set back about a 1/2”.
