    Another trailer queen?

    Dean
are you suggesting that this bike might never again be raced in anger?

In picture 9 it looks as though the swinging arm has been altered/extended, unless this is a standard feature that I have not noticed before.

It must have cost a packet to get it to its final condition. Very pretty.

      Hi Dean,
      Wow - looks great.

I also have an MDS 1962 - which is my dad's - and I race it in UK classic scrambles. The swinging arm/shock angle looks original MDS to me.

My MDS is unusual - as it has an iron Barrel (could be one sold as a clubmans - or could be that the guy who sold it to my dad swapped the barrel before selling - back in 65 ish). Advantage for me is I can race in the Pre60 class with an Iron Barrel.

It had an upswept after market exhaust - which I still keep in the garage - but have fitted an Ian Bain (ex Greeves champion) exhaust - and it flies.

Note the raised seat (I am 6ft 2") - also it has a new fiberglass tank. - as bike came with a challenger tank.

If I knew how to , I would attach a picture for you
      Cheers Kim

A lot of the faster bikes have an extended wheel base one way or another
