    Just vapour blasted this beam & unearthed these numbers, does anybody ( who would know ) have any idea what these numbers stamped into beam would have been for, not the same stamp font as the factory, but has been stamped quite well for a reason.
    It looks like 53 leo or leu j2 with the j2 stamped above it as well, was it some 53 yr old guy called leo who lived near junc 21 on the m5 or what!

      Hi Brian, yes mate its doing alright, thanks for the plug....., logo looks great, without wishing to entrap myself in the nerdy world of frame number spotting, i have just looked at another frame & the 53 is the same font as greeves!......so i guess its a stamping for an event or show or something.
      Best stop there or i`ll end up with thick rimmed glasses & duffle bag......

          Nerdy moment coming then.....

          No 400 listed in the dispatch record. However, the font used does look very authentic. Could be a work's bike?

          I'm only a stand in nerd, more of a trainspotter........
