Evening all and hope you all had a quiet / relaxing / busy / debauched / can't remember (delete as applicable) Christmas.

A quick question for you Griffon experts regarding the front engine mounting points, where the 2 alloy engine plates attach the engine to the frame. Are these bolt tunnels fully cast in to the crankcase, or does the bolt effectively enter the crankcase cavity? Put simply, do I need to apply some silicon either end of the bolts to prevent crankcase leakage? It would be easy to check if I had a spare case, but I don't.

    cheers

    Paul

    Paul,

Ther bolt holes are independent of the crankcase cavity, you don't need silicon.
