Hi Guys,
Before i look inside this recently unearthed box of cogs am i along the right lines with my understanding of the various stamped numbers on my gearbox;
CC 229 ; Cam (barrel) change, first version, sequence number 229.
SP 2 ; Specification 2...... number of and spacing of ratios?
32/65 ; manufactured 32nd week of 1965.
107 ; workshop fitters reference code, in this instance Chris (riflegreen) as per his post on this subject 7/5/2012.
B 10198 ; on the underside of the casing so just a general Albion type/casting number not specific to Greeves.
