These are quoted in the C&W Greeves book as follows for the Amal 930 carb on a 250 Griffon

    Main Jet 280
    Pilot Jet 20
    Jet taper .106
    Groove 3
    Throttle slide 3

Hello John. That will help me also as I think mine is running lean. Gives me something to check against.
Can you tell me more about the book C&R Greeves ? Sounds useful.

        Hi Craig
Be careful been down this Road before.
Never ridden greeves mx bike with that small a pilot
Pilot jet start with 35 think 30 is standard
        Main jet 290 to 300
Needle jet 106 no prob if lean raise needle
Plug chops on full chat first for your main jet size and then chops on half throttle for the needle and then go for the largest pilot jet that u can tune on the air screw.... And do this on a hot engine there u go a good reason n to get your little griff out in a field

I think John means C&W - Rob Carrick and Mick Walker, the 1988 Osprey book on Greeves.
