  • 36MX4 Handlebar brackets, Ceriani Forks

    Hi
    I have the U bolt type on my bike and they don't hold, as I found out recently on a very slow practice 😩😩anybody have an option ? maybe conventional brackets bear in mind they are 1" bars

    Hello Ray,
    I think Greeves changed from the U-bolt style after the MX3 back over to the cast alloy block the same as griffons.? Not sure mind its a long time ago.
    Do you have the correct alloy spacers between the handlebars and the U-bolts giving a much greater clamping force / area.

      Mx4 bar clamps

      Hi Ray,

      Chris is correct in what he says about the bar fixing alloy blocks on the ceriani forked mx4s, all the mx4s I've had have this set up..

      I have seen many cobbled together mx4s with incorrect parts..

      Due to the greater contact area applied by the block system it should sort you problem.

        Yes have spacers but still no go so getting CNC clamps but not sure about clearance under top yoke for nut ?

          MX4 handlebar bolts.

          I seem to recall that the one and only 'Druid' had some clamps made a while ago. You can get his details from LL. John Collard is the guy.
