    Reckon that barrel has got to come off again, then, Kayleigh, to check for any scuffing of the piston or in the bore. While it's off, you will be able to check the piston ring gaps in the bore, rotate the crank to feel for any stiffness or resistance, and it will enable you also to check the oilways which run out of the transfer ports in the crankcase to the main bearings.
    Hope the problem, whatever it is (?) becomes apparent so it can be put right.
