  • Roadster front mudguard stays

My brother is having a sort-out of his bike bits and pieces storage and came across these two parts which are to our eyes clearly Greeves front mudguard stays. As I have a '62 model Scottish they have ended up with me! Looking through Mr. Sparrow's book they look to me like DC and DD parts. If anybody could confirm that it would be most useful. He has had them so long they are most probably genuine rather than pattern parts.

The first pic is definitely front mudgaurd stay for DB, DC and DCX roadsters but not sure about the second one, could be from a DD Essex.

Thanks John. Without having xray eyes that's what I thought they might be based on the pictures in the book.

The right stay is for the DD range with the fibreglass mudguards, not interchangeable.I agree with John regarding the other stay. Les.

          Thanks for the responses

Many thanks to you both for identifying the front mudguard stays I have. Hopefully they will find a decent home sometime.
