  • East Coaster/Essex barn find?

Following pic has been posted on Greeves facebook with a question how much is it worth?
With no frame number given & reg number blacked out its difficult to identify.
It has the 4T engine so could be an 25DC East Coaster, or in view of the fibreglass petrol tank is more likely a 25DD Essex Mk2 thats been painted black.
The mudguards dont look original Greeves and would have been deep valanced fibreglass on the Essex. Rear number plate is not original (looks home made) as is the rear loop supporting the mudguard, should have stays going down to bolt onto number plate. So need frame number for positive id. & valuation.

It would also be helpful to know if it's a runner and what documentation it has. Both influence a potential buyer.

Apparently the bike was sold in a machinery auction and from a deceased estate, about 3 years ago for £350.
It is a 25DDMk2 & was reported by me on eBay in Dec. 2011
