Can anyone post a photo of a ranger tail light? A friend has purchased one but it is missing the tail light,any help will be welcomed. Cheers Pete

Here's a Ranger tail light for you. Both the 1967 and 1968 versions were the same. John's spot on.

Looks like the mounting may be the difficult bit, unless its the same for another make. Would not have thought Greeves would have commissioned a bespoke part for such small production. But they did have a foundry of course so may have cast their own.

This may either complicate things or make them easier!

There is a drawing for an ally sheet mount in the file. Could it be the flashy, alloy casting was export only, ala Triumph, etc?

I think the lamp plus alloy mount is sold complete by several retailers. The Official bracket looks very basic!

Greeves Ranger tailight

Thanks one and all for your response, I should have been a bit more specific, we need both the tail light and the tail light bracket, It looks from the photos that have been posted that it is a Lucas bracket and tail light (as fitted to late model BSA\Triumph models) as is the head light.
This must have been the last Greeves that was fitted with lighting equipment and Lucas at that instead of Miller. Many thanks Pete from the Antipodes.

i have had a word with steve and we found the tali light bracket fits a late triumph light and if you ring him he will no doubt sell you it
