I have never seen any details of carb settings for a 2T sports engine fitted with a S25 carb. I see from the forum that John Wakefield has settings for the 4T with S25 carb...Would these be the same fore the 2T??? It's the 1.94 needle setting that worries me, it seems very weak and I have never dared to go this far !!!

Like you I can find no settings for the S25 carb on a 2T. Greeves specified the smaller S22. I see no reason why the S25 settings for a 4T should not be suitable for a 2T. The needle can always be adjusted (up or down) to suit individual engines to get smooth running. I would start off with the standard
4T settings & see how it runs. -
