    Job now done! I purchased some aluminium perforated mesh sheet on eBay [2mm Hole x 1mm Thickness]. Then drilled a 38mm hole in some thick plywood and with a heavy hammer and socket used as a dummy have made three cups like beer bottle tops (see picture). They are not a tight press fit but I have glued them in with Araldite which should do the trick. Click image for larger version

  • Silverstone - Mesh for the three cooling holes in the left brake drum

    The cooling holes on my RDS are missing the original mesh which I would like to replace. I don't fancy thinking of a stone flying in there as I barrel down a main straight! Can one get hold of these?
