  • Dcx as greenlaner

Well, i was told in no uncertain terms i,d made bad choice on dcx as a greenlaner.
how wrong people can be. Bike finished & been out scramling & greenlaning, & its best bike ive ever ridden of rd by far. Plenty of poke & torque. Very responsive & with strengthen frame & forks very sturdy.
this pic taken before i,d sorted front suspension btw.
    just awaiting v5 now.

I am surprised it worked that well, Dave, given that the front fork bushes have completely collapsed, giving you no front suspension. Good that you are happy with your efforts, though.

        Nice work.
I built a James Trial many years ago in Aus.
I Picked up a 1956 Jame Captain Roadster rolling chassis frame and a complete 1953 6E motor.
At the time several Classic trials riders told me they were no good, but I had read a few articles on Bill Lomas and his works James and made some mods mentioned.
Next Trial, beat all those who told me they were no good!!!!!
It has raised it head again in Qld, Aus and is still competing in Classic trial with its new owner and has changed a bit but still has the exhaust system I made.
Chatted to a bloke at the weekend who had a Norman with a Villiers Twin fitted. 'It went like the clappers' was his comment.

No, actually Dave, you didn't. You added that in your edit at 6.27. Never mind. Your project has provided you with some fun, which is the whole point of owning a Greeves.

Great news, Max. Really pleased to know you're sorted, for off-road anyway. Good luck with that V5.

To switch them on and off click the blue face above and right of the text entry box, then just click the one you want from the panel which should appear below! Hope this helps!
