    hello,

I am working on a 1962 greeves hawkstone with a villiers 250 motor. I bought a new kill switch for the bike. But, I am not sure how or where to connect the two wires. Any help would be much appreciated.

Greeves never fitted a kill switch. But all you need to do to fit one is a wire from the points to an earthing switch, a horn button will do the job fitted on the handle bar

Hello John. Thank you. How did they normally get the motor to stop running?

Carb was set with no tickover so you closed the throttle and engine stopped.

Unless the throttle jams open, in which case you are in trouble! I understand all competition machines require a kill switch. It could save an engine.
