Hi everybody
I have just joined as I recently bought a basket case scrambles Greeves with a Triumph 5ta engine all in bits. The frame number is 61/3838 can any one help by identifying the model please.
I will post some pictures when I get to grips with the forum.
It's good to have a Greeves in the shed again after 45 years!!

Hi Pete. The frame of your bike is a 24MCS scrambler. with Norton Roadholder forks. I assume its this one recently on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394086785550 looks like you have your work cut out. Where are you based?

Thanks for the info. Yes that's the one , plenty to keep me busy this winter. I presume it would have been fitted with the usual leading link forks originally.
What is also interesting is the fuel/ oil tank, mudguard, and engine mounts look like manufactured parts not one offs. Does any body know if there was a company making these bits for this conversion.

Phil Hyde on here is the club Tri Greeves specialist so no doubt will pop up with a comment. Yes the bike would have had leading link forks
