Hi.... as a person soon hopefully to obtain a Silverstone to add to my collection of race bikes used for Parading, I thought that I would introduce myself. I used to race in the '70s and early '80s (Japanese TA/TZ Yams, MT125 Honda and a Morbidelli), but prior to that 'gophered' for Derek Chatterton. I particularly remember being at Mallory Park when Trevor Burgess on Brian Woolley's Greeves nearly caused the total surprise of the day by beating Phil Read and Bill Ivy on the works Yamahas in his heat, leading until the last lap. Greeves have stayed in my mind ever since, as is the ambition to own one! Best wishes to all. Pete Parnham
