Hi info req on a Hawkstone SA

Hi all

My name is John and I have just purchased a 1959 Hawkstone SA with a 2T Villiers engine,the bike has been part restored and was owned by the same person for the last 41 years.

If anyone can give me any info and original factory spec it would be greatly apprieciated as some bits are not original and some bits are missing, the engine has been replaced but i have what i hope may be the original engine in bits but damaged that came with the bike.

Frame number is 59/2211
Engine number is 950A 3146

I have sent the membership form off and will upload some pics asap

If anyone has any parts for sale then please let me know, i am looking for

Exhausts
Seat
Carb and Airfilter (not sure of exact spec)
Any factory literature etc

John - the GRA has the factory despatch records which may identify what engine your bike left the factory with. There are also factory photos plus engineering drawings so a rebuild is not quite as difficult as it could be.

You should find quite a bit of help within the Club and joining is a wise move!
