  • MX Bikes (Pics) site.

    Here's a handy site I came across, full of excellent pics of rare and sometime obscure classic dirt bikes. It's well worth a look and a terrific reference source, with loads of interesting stuff to check out.

    There's a few tidy Greeves on there as well, including a really nice example of a super rare 1967 Cheney Greeves Challenger, the only pic I've ever seen of the 'production' model (one for you Rob!)

    Here's a link to the homepage; www.mxbikes.com

    Here's a link to the photo album page; http://www.mxbikes.com/pics/

    And here's some links to a few examples;

    1967 Cheney Greeves;

    1966 Greeves 24MX3 Challenger;

    1964 Greeves Challenger;

    1947 Eysink 125cc Ex Factory Enduro Motorcycle;

    Some of the pics a quite large format files so give them a minute or so to load up before viewing.

    Enjoy!

    Brian.

        It sure makes that 360 motor look nasty!

        What ever became of the Cheney / Greeves special with the petrol tank under the seat?

          Kenny,

          I was only reading about that bike an hour ago - does anyone know what happened to it?

          Cheers,
          Andrew

            Cheney Greeves-New Thread Started.

            It would indeed be great to hear more about what happened to the prototype, or any other examples of this machine if anybody has any more info to offer....

            With this in mind I've started a new dedicated thread for this bike over in the 'Scrambles Machines' section.

            Check it out here; http://www.greeves-riders.org.uk/for...ead.php?t=2133
