just bought a six day Scottish it was registered in 1963 for road use and the frame number is 24tes415 with Mk2 written under it . I have looked on trace your model page and 24tes is there but not the suffix 415 . Is the 24tes the designation number for a 1963 Scottish six day frame and the number 415 the actual denoting the 415th frame made . Any help please

According to the Model identification listing in the Carrick & Walker Greeves book, the 24TES model was manufactured from 1962 - 1964, Simon. They list a consecutive Frame numbering as commencing with 24TES101 in 1962, and Mk2 apparently denotes the upgrading in 1963 which gave the model full width hubs, a new exhaust system, a revised primary chain-case and a new seat, over the specification for the 1962 model.
Hope this helps?Last edited by johnrunnacles; 24/05/2022, 08:07 PM.
