  • Winter ride

A bit of a 'squirrely' ride yesterday as the lanes are caked in the usual winter leaves and mud. The thin wheels and tread on the EastCoaster don't inspire confidence like TKC 80s. Time to put the EastCoaster away and get the "grumph' out for the winter rides.

Keep riding, that's the main thing! We are allowed; it's recreational.

Tony those Craven Panniers wont help with handling, make front end light, Can you not remove them?

They don't weigh much and don't lighten the front. There is just too much mud and detritus for the road tyres to cope with.

Well, you will live in the middle of a field, down a dirt track!

            Not quite

However it does have it's advantages for nice rides.

Well, slight exaggeration! As you say, a lovely part of the country for ride-outs, Tony
