  • 25DB Horn (Again !!)

I have now had 3 different Horns from the same supplier (6v DV Vespa 65mm Dia) and none of them work, I have a fully charged battery and all I get is a single "click" irrespective of which terminal I connect the power to. It may be possible that the supplier had a complete batch of faulty Horns but can anyone make any other suggestion as to why this would be happening or recommend a good supplier who they have purchased a working Horn from.
As usual help would be appreciated
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Some horns have a small adjustment screw that abuts against the diaphragm, usually at the back.

I don't know if yours has but if it does try backing off slightly. Otherwise, no clue!

    Brian.

Maybe they're actually mislabelled 12v horns?

Very likely as John says AC, this one should do the job https://www.vehiclewiringproducts.co...otorcycle-horn Wiring Products are a reputable supplier but check with them first that it will work on DC from battery. You obviously need to order the 6 volt version.
