Sad news indeed. A legendary figure. My condolences to his family. RIP.

Indeed, the saddest of news, which reached us at the Telford show on Saurday. I was only talking to him about a ticket for Telford a week or so again.

Chairman Rob, Dave Bradley and I attended Bill Brooker's funeral yesterday. There was an impressive guard of honour of ex-paras.

There was a good representation of Greeves people, including Arthur Browning, Bryan Goss, Tony Davis, Silvia Bickers, Chris Ginn, John Collard, Mick Wall, and Terry Sewell.

We helped see him off ok. Farewell old soldier and friend - and thanks.
