Some great bikes up for auction at the end of this month although I suspect 'top dollar' is the word. Type Greeves into the site search box for bikes coming up at the end of this month

All from Tom Reese Collection https://www.mecum.com/auctions/las-v...se-collection/ at Las Vegas 25/27 Jan
Will be interesting to see what these make
24CS160 was previously on eBay at Idaho 3/16, so presumably bought by Tom Reese at that time.
24CS221 is a new one to me.Last edited by John Wakefield; 03/01/2018, 12:36 PM.

It sold a year ago for $8000, getting on or over £6000 when you add buyers premium.
I think I will get a bigger padlock for my Rangers

I see the MCS mk2 771 is only 3 numbers from mine; 774. Nice to have a set of pics to check detail on, although I can't spot many differences with the UK MDS. That one has a Concentric fitted, the front mudguard looks a bit bizarre; wrong radius; and the rear is too short to stop the rider getting a full spray of mud! A steel tank, not ally, and an un-drilled engine cradle; mine likewise. Apart from that, very similar. Nice....

Hi Gary. Interesting stuff. Not much has been said about the MCS mk2 on here, although it holds a unique position in Greeves history. Maybe we should start a thread on them, the similarities and differences between it and the MDS, as well as differences in the specification of the model itself, before Greeves finally came clean and called it the MDS for the American market too!
Cheers. Ian
