    Just picked up this thread off the IKBA forum, looks like ethanol is making the plastic floats swell thus making them stick causing flooding.

    I discovered that if I leave the T100A for a while with no petrol in it, the carb (Monobloc 375) floods vigorously when the petrol is switched on. I suspected the float needle sticking, but discovered when I took the end cover off that the float (black plastic) was actually contacting the boss for the cover screw (red arrow) and jamming against it when the float chamber was empty, rather than touching the square section stop (blue arrow). So when I open the tap, the float stays at the bottom.....
    It's a bit difficult to see in the photos.
    A spare brass float which I had lying about clears the boss easily. Might be something to check if you have unexplained flooding.

    Yes yet another problem with the good old ethanol!!!
