  • Edward Rance

The GRA has been asked for any snippets of information about a chap named Edward Rance who rode Greeves in scrambles and grass track in the South-East during the sixties. His riding number was 199 and his favourite circuit was Pulborough.

I'm not aware of him, I think he was probably a club rider, but as the enquiry has come from his daughter I thought I'd put a note on here in case anyone remembers the name or anything about him.

    Well Colin,

Pulborough is about 15 miles from here at Arundel West Sussex and I remember going there in about 1960 just before I got my first bike, a very fast circuit now building has taken over some of the Field area,I will ask about as a lot of people in other clubs in our area I know were into Grasstrack Racing

Colin, the name is familiar, I'll ask my big brother if he remembers anything from back in the early years.
