A busy Sunday, lots of interest in the bikes and people wanting to find the history of their bikes - Stuart was able to help. Carol did a great job of selling regalia and a special thanks for the sausage rolls and cake he bought with him. Nice to see Phil who enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat.Click image for larger version

Just been watching the auction, the 3 Greeves did not make high prices and one failed to sell at ?1700 (see above for the prices) The auctioneers were also struggling to get prices over the reserves with many of the other bikes not selling. Sign of the times.

It's a buyers' market at the moment. That was a really nice Ajay trials model with a sidecar for ?4,200.

I was fortunate enough today to be able to have a day out to the Bristol Classic bike show at Shepton. It is some time since i visited last. Just wanted to record my thanks to Tony, Carol and Gary for a warm welcome and a nice cup of tea. A good display of Greeves on our stand, and others throughout the show. Thank you all.

In the middle picture, left of centre is my (ex) 20DC, which sold at the show. Good news is we now have a new GRA member as a result. Ian Booker attended on Saturday, along with his wife. Ian owns 5LHK, one of the 6 'LHK' registered works bikes, 5 of which were entered in the 1958 ISDT in Germany; ridden by Jack Simpson, although sadly resulting in a DNF. He is as enthusiastic as ever; nice to see him!
