That is not the same machine as the MCS in your previous post. It is the next model on, 24 MCS mk2, as John Runnacles said, known in the UK as 24MDS. He was enjoying it!

The last picture looks as though it is the bike you have now. As JR says, great pictures!

I’ll grab some more pictures to share next time I head over to my grandmothers. My grandpas name was Bob Budschat. He was National #13 here in the states. Raced triumph and matchless in the 50s. And switched to Ducati where he is now listed in their hall of fame for winning a Canadian National Title. You can read some cool stuff by searching him online. Not a ton of stuff as 1950s TT. Flattrack on the west coast wasn’t greatly documented. Lots of great stories I heard as a kid about the Greeves and the “horn O plenty” as he called the exhaust. Haha

He won the Canadian title on a 250 Greeves in 60 or 61 in Victoria B.C. Then won the following year on a Norton.

Interesting that your Grandpa won the Canadian title in 1960/61. The model you have was introduced late in 1960 for the '61 season. You never know your luck....!
