Just a reminder that there will be a GRA stand at the VMCC Founders Day at Stanford Hall near Kettering this Sunday, 22nd July.

All Greeves welcome on the stand, we'll have plenty of room. Or just come and chat.

Great event, excellent bike jumble, sunny weather guaranteed.

Founders Day went well yesterday. Ten Greeves turned up provided you include Dave McGregor's 175 Bantam - engined Pathfinder.

Nice bike actually, what a shame Greeves didn't try buying Bantam engines instead of that ruddy Puch. Chairman Rob, had he been there, would have really loved it..!

It stayed overcast but warm until mid-afternoon, so reasonably comfortable all day. We were located nearer to the 'jumble this year, which was handy, but ended up with a too-small pitch. Fortunately the pitch next to ours remained vacant, so the Vincent Owners Club (on the other side) and the GRA overflowed onto it.

The jumble fully lived up to expectations - lots of proper British vintage jumble and parts and not a cheap tool stand in sight.

Well done VMCC Taverners Section and many thanks to everyone who brought bikes and to the many friends, old and new, who visited our stand.

Like with Triumph I dont suppose BSA would supply engines to rival companies.
