I spoke to Dave about this - the GRA wanted to lay on something to acknowledge the 50th anniversary of his two European championships.

He said he would definitely have come, but he's away in th Isle of Man that weekend.

Hoping to get him along to the Fenman...

Lovely weather yesterday, sunny start with a bit of cloud later to alleviate the heat in the afternoon.

Not as well attended as some in the past, but a nice laid-back feel to the day. Hi to everybody I chatted to yesterday.

A bike stand was left behind in the marquee after the show. I haven't got it, but if anyone picked it up please let me know and we can arrange to reunite it with its owner.

The Pre '65 MX Club "demonstration" was as good as ever with a decent sprinkling of Greeves. I took a few pics for Leading Link, but I won't post any yet, let's see who else comes up with some.

Part of the demo was grasstrack bikes. A real treat was a pre-war Duggie flat twin, complete with leg-trailing rider. A highlight though was speedway rider Chris Berwick who treated us to full-out sideways action on the tight little circuit. I had to post his picture, even though it has nothing to do with Greeves.

              Wish I could do that..!

Colin, nice to see you yesterday. I can do that pose.....standing still! Some entertaining races, given the tight confines. I had 2 interests there, the Greeves and the Cheney. For some reason the Cheney pics look a lot better than the Greeves, but when I get more time, I'll play with the results and see if I can publish something! I presume someone took the Red TFS home instead of me...
